Welcome Students!

You will participate in hands-on learning activities and experiments in the science lab to coordinate with your classroom lessons. You will also participate in many STEAM activities throughout the year. You will be put into groups each week and work together and experiment.
Each grade works on many different activities. Some examples are Lego Robotics, microscopes, dissecting owl pellets, making play dough, recording and reporting the weather, building nests and electric circuits, just to name a few.
Greetings Parents

I am so excited to be teaching all your children in the science lab this year! Each class utilizes the lab once a week. All materials used in the science lab are non-toxic and safe for children to handle.

If you are interested in watching a live web cam, feel free to check out explore.org, it’s amazing! SciShow Kids is also a great resource on YouTube for students to become familiar with various science topics. Both are kid friendly.
